Jim Webb was born July 28,
1971 and is originally from Tomahawk, KY but has lived in Frankfort for
four years. Jim is a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He is the group leader of
Flatt Creek. Jim has been playing Bluegrass Music for 25 years. He has performed
with many groups, some of them are: The Beechfork Trio, Spicewood, Steel,
True Gospel Singers, Blue Dawg and currenty Flatt Creek. He is a multi instrument
player having the ability to switch to any instrument being played in the
band at any given moment. He also sings lead and tenor with the group.
Jim
also gives mandolin, banjo, guitar and bass lessons. Currently he owns
a small recording studio and has a great deal of sound equipment so that
the tunes the band plays can be heard.
