I was born in Hazard, KY and moved to Frankfort when I was about three. My Mom and Dad both were from Hazard, so I spent many weekends there roaming in the hills between Walkertown (Dad’s side) and Christofer Hollar (Mom’s side). Mom’s side of the family was more musical, though both were full of love and kindness. My Grandma Lee, Christine, lives here in Frankfort and still plays and sings at church and senior centers around town. I grew up playing and singing with them and never could stop. I’ve been with a few rock bands in the area and still play a little electric, but the Mandolin has challenged me to become a better musician. I’ve been with Flatt Creek for almost two years, learning to play mandolin and singing.
